This cute little purse is made from a tropical flower print cotton fabric. The fabric is a collage of flowers, dots, and swirls in blue, auburn, persimmon, and butterscotch.
I machine quilted the lining to give the purse a soft, padded, puffy look.…

- I love cotton fabrics. I use it in most of my bags. I do not have a favorite - I purchase from many different fabric makers. It depends on my mood and what I feel like making at the time of purchasing the fabric.

- I have been sewing for many years. I watched my Mom and older sister sewing all the time and new I wanted to do the same. I get my inspiration from the fabric that I buy. I can see the purse or item coming together even before I start on the project.
