I have a number of new items for the springtime and a new banner and avatar to display the brand of Gabrielle's Boutique. An illustration that I have created, Mariella the fairy, is the subject of my new brand. View the magic here :)

In January our family decided to create an etsy storefront just to see how it would do. So far it has produced very little viewings and absolutely no sales.
We have one friend who in the meantime has sold several items. But... her sales have only been to friends, and not to anyone who didn't already know her. She too is wondering how we can get buyers whom we have no present connection.
We have had great success selling on ebay, but none of those sales have been for hand-made items, just used…

Hi everyone! My name is Julie and I'm happy to be a hooker :)! Even my family is proud of that title! Just want to say you guys are the best! I have been looking for people who share the same passion I do for crocheting, but couldn't find them anywhere until I joined this group!
I just turned 40 (ok, in October :) and have been crocheting since I was taught by my grandmother at 8. Over the years I was able to get my mom and sister involved in crafts in general, but they never took to the croc…

I have added a few more things to my shop! I will be designing a few more styles for the upcoming St. Patrick's Day Holiday. Right now I have the regular beanie skullcap hat with a shamrock four leaf clover and also the beanie skullcap hat with brim in Kelly Green. I'm working on some that will have buttons with St. Patty's Day phrases do after the holiday, you can remove the button and still wear the hat. Please check back as I continue to add new items!
Also working on some more stylish hats…

I am embarking on a new project. I am going to make a sculpture that represents the turbulent 60's and the Victorian era. These two contrasting time periods represent the discord of evolution: the clash of the changing times. Therefore I will title the completed sculpture Discord of Unity. I am planning on selling the completed work of art at GabriellesBoutique.Etsy.com!
I have created a blog to document this at:

Maybe you feel the same way too, but vintage usually inspires some kind of romantic feeling for me. I guess maybe it's my denial that items from the 80's can now be listed as vintage. Today on Etsy, I found a great treasury curated by

My Son will be getting married on a Florida beach this coming Valentine's day, so I will be leaving the cold, snow-filled state of Ohio in a few days to head for the SUN and the BEACH!!!!!
I am soooooo excited!! I did the flowers for the wedding, along with a set of scrapbook pages (that go from our vacation last year, where they became engaged, to their returning from the Honeymoon). I have my fancy dress and a house rented near the beach. Additionally, my Mom, my Grandma, and my eldest Son an…

I have created a new product that I like to call Clayfetti. I made 100 miniature roses out of polymer clay, accompanied by 50 clay leaves, and bundled them up in a bag. They can be used as confetti and sprinkled across a table, (yes, they are that small!) or glued onto anythi

I make extremely small sculptures and turn them into rings. I have tried photographing them but even with the macro function on my digital camera, the pictures still turn out out of focus!
Any tips?
